MAJLIS is an anthology built inside a single virtual set — a majlis that changes century between chapters while the camera never leaves the room. Six directors from Qatar, Jordan, Egypt, Türkiye, Spain and Senegal each take one chapter, sharing a volume stage in Doha and a common compute budget. The production is open by design: every milestone publishes its compute line items — tokens, GPU-hours, unit costs — alongside its cash budget, and every release is voted on by the people who funded it. Nothing in the ledger is rounded for presentation.
